Adeleine is a female character from the Kirby series, first appearing Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards as both a boss and major supporting character. Adeleine would go on to make further appearances in later Kirby titles, including Kirby Star Allies, where she is paired up with Ribbon. Though not confirmed to be the same person, she shares both her appearance and many similarities with Ado, a boss character from Kirby's Dream Land 3.
Adeleine is a talented young artist with the ability to bring her paintings to life. She moved to Planet Popstar in order to study art, but was possessed by Dark Matter and forced to fight Kirby, though she was unable to defeat him and was freed from Dark Matter's possession. Adeleine is weak and relies on the characters she paints to life to attack on her behalf, being beaten by Kirby with a single slide attack once she tries to physically attack him.
In M.U.G.E.N, Adeleine has been made by Ganva, Camisback9902, and H.A.L.L.
Ganva's version[]
It would seem that a certain shrine maiden quit fighting youkai and chose a different occupation instead, or maybe it's all a coincidence. Ado's attacks have very long startup times as the character has to literally draw its attacks, which also causes Ado to lack aerials, though it is fortunate that these attacks are powerful and either long-ranged or projectiles. Victory will be a challenging picture to paint for this little artist.
