Arceus is a Normal-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is a Mythical Pokémon native to the Sinnoh region that can change its type through the use of either seventeen different Plates or Z-Crystals, and is also the creator of both the the creation trio and the lake guardians Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. It appears at #493 in the National Pokédex.
Dubbed "The Original One" in Sinnoh mythology, Arceus is depicted as having been born from an egg in the void of nothingness before the universe's existence, then created the universe as it exists today, including the Sinnoh region, the legendary deities of time and space, and the lake guardians. Though primarily a Normal type, Arceus's type can be changed at will through the use of the seventeen Plates it possesses or through the use of Z-Crystals, the former of which will also change the type of its signature move, Judgment.
In M.U.G.E.N, Arceus has been created by Orion. It is a spriteswap of RicePigeon's Giratina, using the same animations, positions and even the Shadow Force move (changed to Judgement). Its sprites are partially different, with all instances of Giratina changed to Arceus, though the move names on the call-outs are crudely edited.
