Bartman is the alter-ego of The Simpsons character Bart Simpson, donning a cape and a mask that goes up to his eyes. He has the ability to climb walls and glide, alongside use a grappling hook.

Bartman debuted in the episode Three Men and a Comic Book, where Bart and Lisa learn that when attending a comic book convention, they could get a discount for dressing as a superhero. This led Bart to run into a phone booth, put on a mask and cape, and give himself another identity, although both him and Lisa had to pay full price. Bartman gains an alternative backstory in the non-canon episode Revenge is a Dish Best Served Three Times, which depicts Bart's parents being killed by the Snake Jailbird in a dark alley, which inspires him to create a superhero counterpart with his grandfather as a way to seek revenge; this story is a parody of Batman's origin in the film Batman Begins, and has Bartman depicted in a full superhero suit rather than the blue T-shirt and shorts.

Outside of those two episodes, Bartman has had frequent comic appearances, including a six-issue series in the 1990s, which depict him fighting bullies and villains in Springfield. He has also appeared in numerous video games, including Bartman Meets Radioactive Man, where he is the main character, alongside The Simpsons Game, where he is a transformation for Bart that allows him to do the aforementioned abilties of gliding and climbing walls. Bartman also appears as a costume for Bart in The Simpsons Hit & Run and The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

In M.U.G.E.N, Bartman has been made by Warner; the voice of this version is mainly in Spanish, but an English edit for the character has been made by Tunglashor.

Warner's version[]

Like other cartoon-based characters, Bartman takes the job with Marvel vs. Capcom-inspired gameplay and many references to his source material; this assortment of referential moves allows for him to have a playstyle that involves doing as much damage as he can before running off—true to his real identity.
