Charmander is a Fire-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the first stage of the Charizard evolution family and the Fire-type starter of the Kanto region. It appears at #004 in both the Kanto and National Pokédexes.
Charmander has a flame at the tip of its tail that reflects its emotional state, becoming fiercer or weaker depending on the emotion; in addition, the flame is directly tied to Charmander's life force, as it burns from the day Charmander is born and will dissipate when it dies, thus it is fatal if the flame is extinguished.
In M.U.G.E.N, Charmander was made by various authors.
Unknown version[]
Probably the earliest known version of Charmander, this little starter has a limited two-button layout and limited comboability that forces Charmander to repeatedly use its standing and crouching light Normals to perform a higher combo. Being included with a glitch that causes it to not get up after being knocked down from an attack that causes a knockdown, training this fire-type starter can be quite tedious, let alone trying to defeat it.
Bruno_SS' version[]
This version of Charmander might have a bit of trouble with attempting to combo and deal some damage thanks to requiring precise timing and having a rather low damage output, but has stronger attacks that require Power and can easily use its weak attacks very quickly. Featuring also a limited moveset, Charmander might have some problems with winning matches.
