Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter |
Cyber-Akuma, also known as Mech-Gouki in Japan, is the cyborg version of Akuma and the true final boss in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter. His design is quite similar to his incarnation in the Street Fighter Alpha series, albeit with robotic features on the right-side of his face, right arm, robotic sandals and two cybernetic wings concealed within his back, due to being under the control of X-Men villain, Apocalypse.
After defeating Apocalypse in the game's Arcade mode, he will summon Cyber-Akuma to fight the player in a 2-on-1 match. Alongside having the highest stun and stamina ratings in the game, he also has his own version of the iconic Shun Goku Satsu, which is dubbed the "Shining Gou Shock" and hits 24 times, making it more damaging than the original. As a result of being under the control of Apocalypse, Cyber-Akuma's personality is vastly different from that of the original Akuma, with the biggest difference that he is significantly more servile.
In M.U.G.E.N, Cyber Akuma has been made three times, with the first and most well-known version being by MystikBlaze. The newest version, made by Scar, oddly cannot perform the aerial variant of the Shining Gou Shock.
