Darkstalkers: Jedah's Damnation is a M.U.G.E.N project created by Joseph War, with some assistance from David Rojas and Maxi Bosch. It is heavily based on Darkstalkers 3, featuring virtually every character and stage from said game (aside from the characters Marionette, Oboro Bishamon and Shadow; and the stages Forever Torment, Green Scream and Red Thirst), and several stages from Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors. It also features two characters from Red Heart and Ruby Heart from Marvel vs. Capcom 2, as well as the latter's home stage and the default Training Room stage that comes pre-installed with M.U.G.E.N.

Aside from a few characters, every playable character has been edited to play with a gameplay style reminiscent of PotS's characters, commonly called "PotS Style".

The project's name comes from the initial localised name for the title outside of Japan, before it was eventually called Darkstalkers 3. Some of the characters are referred to by their Japanese names in-game (said characters are shown below with brackets).

  • An alternate form of Jedah (called Boss Jedah in the game's files) is selectable on the character select screen, although he is only controllable by the CPU, meaning that human players cannot use him if they select him.
  • Despite appearing on the splash screen alongside Demitri when initially launching the game, Akuma, from Street Fighter, does not appear in the game as a playable or boss character.
