Originally a self-insert, this version is now an original creation with an original moveset, including an original projectile in Glow Sphere, as well as two assists, both of which are two of the same creator's other characters. Alongside this, this cat features high combos, a Raging Demon, and some zoning potential.
Classic Deluxe is a six-button character that uses the buttons that respond for punches and the buttons respond for kicks, where the Ⓧ and Ⓐ buttons respond for light Normals, Ⓨ and Ⓑ to medium attacks and Ⓒ and Ⓩ to heavy Normals. Most of his Normals are rather simple, where his crouching Ⓒ trips the opponent, while his crouching Ⓩ is a Launcher, which can be also cancelled into his Super Jump. Apart from the Super Jump, Classic Deluxe also has a Dodge and a Power Charge, the former which can be also performed by holding either or , activating a forward dash dodge and a backdash dodge, respectively.
Classic Deluxe uses the Chain Comboing system, giving him high comboability. He can cancel his Normals from light to heavy, can cancel them into Specials and Hypers and can cancel Specials into Hypers, and as mentioned before, he can cancel his crouching Ⓩ into his Super Jump, allowing for Aerial Raves to be performed. His damage output is average, where his Aerial Rave combo can deal up to 180 damage, though it can also deal almost 200 damage if he uses the Ⓩ variation of Deluxe Uppercut, although this must be timed correctly. He also has a damage dampener, where the amount of damage decreases when Classic Deluxe performs a combo, though this doesn't apply to helper-based moves. Aside from the crouching Ⓩ as a Launcher, Classic Deluxe has another Launcher that can allow him to follow up with an Aerial Rave, being his sole Assist, Kaizo.
Classic Deluxe has a total of eight Specials; Glow Sphere is a simple projectile where Classic Deluxe fires a glow sphere from his hand, causing soft knockdown if the opponent is airborne; Diagonal Upwards Kick is a simple kick where Classic Deluxe jumps up diagonally, causing hard knockdown if the kick hits the opponent; Deluxe Uppercut is an uppercut where Classic Deluxe jumps up, and hitting the opponent three times, with it giving him invincibility during startup; Glow Scratch is a simple scratch where Classic Deluxe scratches his opponent, causing hard knockdown; Glow Sphere Kick is another projectile where Classic Deluxe kicks a glow sphere, and unlike the regular Glow Sphere, Glow Sphere Kick causes soft knockdown regardless if the opponent is standing or not, and can even absorb projectiles, though it will also bounce off the opponent if they hit the projectile, which will usually whiff unless the character is giant; Counter is, as the name suggests, a counter where Classic Deluxe punches the opponent if he's hit during frame 4 of the move, causing hard wall bounce if the opponent is near the wall, though the move does not counter projectiles, instead giving him invincibility for 0.27 seconds; Kaizo is an Assist where Classic Deluxe summons Kaizo to scratch the opponent three times, with the last hit causing hard knockdown and launching the opponent up; Deluxe is an another Assist where Deluxe throws an explosive shuriken, knocking the opponent down.
Classic Deluxe's Hypers, in addition to his combos, are decently strong, with having two level 1 and level 2 Hypers, and a sole level 3 Hyper; his level 1 Hypers are Sphere Barrage, a stronger version of Glow Sphere where Classic Deluxe fires 14 projectiles, causing soft knockdown even if the opponent is standing, and Glowing Kick, a move where Classic Deluxe charges into his opponent with his kick, causing hard knockdown, and both can be also used while airborne; his level 2 Hypers are Beam Fire, a projectile where Classic Deluxe fires a beam from his hands, causing hard knockdown, and it is impossible to avoid the move because it reaches the other side of the stage, forcing the opponent to jump in order to avoid its first hits, as well as Glowing Diagonal Upwards Kick, a stronger version of Diagonal Upwards Kick which deals more damage and goes faster, though it can be also blocked while airborne, while the regular Diagonal Upwards Kick cannot be blocked while airborne; his sole level 3 Hyper is Shun Deluxe Satsu, a.k.a Your Typical Raging Demon, a simple Raging Demon where Deluxe slides into his opponent and beats them once the screen fades to black.
Classic Deluxe has a custom A.I. that is rather challenging; it makes Classic Deluxe attack very often when close to the opponent and performs decent combos whenever he has a chance to, usually by done via his Normals and then Glow Scratch, usually followed by Glow Barrage. It will randomly use his level 2 Hypers if it decides to, and will occasionally use Power Charge to charge up Power. He also tends to block attacks a lot, which can make it slightly tougher to trap him in a combo.
