Demitri Maximoff is a character from the Darkstalkers series, first appearing as a playable character in the first game of the series, Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, and having been a recurring playable character in every game in the series since. Demitri has also made appearances as a playable character in various Capcom crossover titles, including Capcom Fighting Evolution and SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.
A vampire noble, Demitri seeks to conquer Makai and become it's sole ruler. After being defeated by Belial Aensland, one of the three Demon Nobles, he was banished to the mortal realm, along with his castle. After the arrival of the alien lifeform known as Pyron over 100 years later, Demitri saw an opportunity to absorb Pyron's power and use it to defeat Belial. Once Pyron was defeated and Demitri returned to Makai, he quickly learned that Belial had perished during his 100 year exile and that Belial's daughter, Morrigan Aensland, had become heir to the throne; before he could challenge Morrigan, however, he and his castle were inadvertently transported to the realm of Majigen due to the machinations of Jedah Dohma.
In M.U.G.E.N, Demitri has been made by various creators. Most if not all versions feature his iconic Midnight Bliss attack, which typically relies on the opponent having a compatible animation to replicate the source material, resulting in it being among the most common optional animations within characters.
Ryon's version[]
While it is supposed to play like Capcom Fighting Jam, this Demitri seems to play a custom way. It is still Demitri Maximoff through and through.
