Dr. Mario is the persona that Mario takes on in the Dr. Mario games. In this form, he wears a white lab coat, white pants, a head mirror, and a stethoscope around his neck. He first appeared in the 1990 NES game Dr. Mario. He also appears as an unlockable fighter in the Super Smash Bros. series.
In M.U.G.E.N, Dr. Mario has been made by various creators.

Using edited sprites of his regular form, the heroic plumber arrives in his doctor form to fight viruses... except he can only throw a pill, which is a highly spammable attack. Not to mention that his buffed stats not only make him take longer to knock down, but it also makes his pill attack damage the opponent more. This attack would be more useful if used to cure viruses by highly damaging them.
