E-123 Omega, typically called simply Omega, is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. A robot created by Dr. Eggman, he is the last and most powerful of the evil doctor's "E-100 Series" line of robots. Omega's design vaguely resembles fellow E-100 robot, E-102 Gamma, although he has a more solid upper body and arms, is much shorter than all other models and his eyes are red as opposed to green.
Deactivated and sealed away within an abandoned base to guard a suspended Shadow locked within his stasis pod, Omega was accidentally reactivated by Rouge while she was attempting to locate Eggman's "secret treasure". Furious at the doctor's actions and swearing revenge, he attempted to attack Shadow, due to mistaking him as another robot. After Rouge clarified that this Shadow was the original, he joined the pair as a part of Team Dark, in order to not only get his revenge on Eggman for wasting his potential, but also destroy all other robots to prove himself superior. Due to his one-track obsession with defeating Eggman, Omega is extremely reckless and aggressive, destroying anything that stands in his way - even if his orders have nothing to do with extermination.
In M.U.G.E.N, E-123 Omega has been created multiple times by different creators, with Gladiacloud's version perhaps being the most popular, which uses edited sprites based on Gussprint's sprite-sheet.
SC1614's version
A prototype model that doesn't feel at all finished, this Omega uses an unfinished sprite sheet by TyDillX3theHedgehog and offers little more than one Hyper and very limited combo options. It is also a Kung Fu Man edit.
Gladiacloud's version
A character that assumes some traits of a typical power character, such as slow but ranged Normals and a large hurtbox, but has the added bonuses of ranged weaponry and high dash velocities, in exchange for a reduction in attack damage. While E-123 Omega has a formidable array of ground tools to dispose of worthless consumer models from any distance, its poor aerial capabilities make even regular jumping a highly unfavourable action.
