Gameplay[]

P1 Hero is a four-button character, using X, Y, A, and B for normals.

X and Y are used for P1 Hero's Persona, Seimen Kongou. After an attack involving it is used, it remains on the stage for a brief period, or until it is hit. If the player attempts to use one of its moves while it's on the stage, it will use the move from its current position. If it gets hit, the damage is transferred to P1 Hero, but no hitstun occurs.

P1 Hero's combo ability is fairly strong. Most of his specials and Hypers allow for follow-ups, with two of them, デスバウンド and ヒートウェイブ, actually being special-cancellable. Since some of Seimen Kongou's attacks either travel long distances or possess Move tracks the opponent's position during startup, but will not follow them once it becomes active properties, combos can be started from almost any range.

P1 Hero has a few issues with his specials. マシンガン(正面) and マシンガン(正面) are classified as normals, despite requiring motion inputs, and if he cancels ヒートウェイブ into スピンキック, ガル, or any hyper, P1 Hero will float in the air until he either jumps or uses ヒートウェイブ again. While in this state, he can perform any actions that are available on the ground.

P1 Hero uses M.U.G.E.N's default AI, making him a relatively unchallenging opponent.
