Origin

Pokémon

Jigglypuff is a Normal/Fairy-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It has made an appearance as a playable character in every game of the Super Smash Bros. series as an unlockable character with the exception of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it is part of the starting roster. It evolves from Igglybuff and evolves into Wigglytuff. It appears at #039 in both the Kanto and National Pokédexes.

Jigglypuff are round, balloonish Pokémon known for singing a soothing melody. Using their large, alluring eyes to mesmerize predators, they send them to sleep with a lullaby, doing so by adjusting their vocal cords at the precise wavelength. They never pause to breathe as they sing, so if they encounter an opponent who doesn't get drowsy easily, they endanger their own life.

In M.U.G.E.N, Jigglypuff has been created by various creators, though MUGENX's Jigglypuff is known by its Japanese name of 'Purin'.

Willoughby Jackson's version[]

Jp

Willoughby Jackson's version can use its microphone to attack, and draws an ancient symbol on itself to summon the Ancient Jigglypuff; this Jigglypuff evolves into Wigglytuff to finish off the foe.

This Jigglypuff is also known to deal damage to its partner in Team Mode with some of its hyper attacks, not helped by the fact that they deal a lot of damage, and it is able to deal damage with its taunt. Jigglypuff's Body Slam attack can stun the opponent if it lands on the foe's head.

Thunderbert's version[]

ThunderbertJigglyidle

This version of Jigglypuff plays very similarly to its Super Smash Bros. counterpart, being distinguished only by its ability to call helpers and its two Hyper attacks. It cannot guard through holding backwards, so instead uses a bubble shield that wears down over time, though it doesn't shrink any faster through receiving damage, and automatically fully regenerates itself the moment it's not in use.

Its small size makes it difficult to hit with larger characters and its maximum of 1000 Power handicaps its ally if Jigglypuff is player 1. As previously mentioned, it has two Hyper attacks; both use Jigglypuff's entire Power meter, though one makes the other completely redundant, as it can K.O. the opponent in one hit, while the other only deals a fair amount of damage.
