Fire Field is a reoccurring course from Nintendo's futuristic racing game series, F-Zero. Originally a vast mining facility filled to the brim with valuable minerals, the resource company behind the operation drilled too deep and hit a volcano, filling the area with magma and effectively putting the company out of business; fortunately, the organisers behind the F-Zero Grand Prix worked with the company to repurpose the area as a location for race circuits.
In M.U.G.E.N, Fire Field has been made by Luneth; named 'F-ZERO GX Fire Firld[sic] - Cylinder Knot', the stage is based on F-Zero GX's Fire Field, or more specifically, Emerald Cup's Fire Field - Cylinder Knot.

Luneth's version of Fire Field is based on Fire Field - Cylinder Knot from the Emerald Cup of F-Zero GX, with combatants fighting on top of one of the cylindrical sections of the course that transitions over to a flat surface on the left of the stage. The stage features animation in the form of large jets of magma launched high up into the air from the flowing magma below, as well as some sort of spray being expelled from machinery in the background and a pulsating light strip coming from the same piece of machinery. The stage is incredibly wide, giving combatants plenty of room to move, though this naturally makes it difficult for them to back each other into a corner; the stage also features plenty of height for characters to use their Super Jumps without going off-screen, allowing for visibility of air combos.
