Gardevoir is a Psychic/Fairy-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series that also makes an appearance as a playable character in the 3D fighting game, Pokkén Tournament. It is one of the two final evolutions of Ralts, with the other being Gallade, and has a Mega Evolution known as Mega Gardevoir, and might be related to the Paradox Pokémon known as Iron Valiant, which is thought to be its relative from the distant future. It appears at #031 in the Hoenn Pokédex and #282 in the National Pokédex.
Gardevoir has the ability to sense the feelings of both people and Pokémon, as well as being able to see into the future. In addition to its ability to sense the future, Gardevoir also possess the ability to warp the fabric of space-time, with the most notable example of this being Gardevoir's ability to create small black holes. Due to their loyalty, they will protect their trainers no matter the cost - even if it meant that it would have to sacrifice its own life; they mainly use their strong psychic powers and the ability to teleport to do so. After Mega Evolving into Mega Gardevoir, the horn in Gardevoir's chest splits open to represent the symbolic opening of its heart, which allows it to use amplified psychic power.
In M.U.G.E.N, Gardevoir has been made once by Ðshiznetz. Like the rest of Ðshiznetz's Pokémon characters, Gardevoir's sprites and animations were ripped from a Pokémon-based fighting game called Pokémon: Type Wild. Gardevoir attacks using mainly physical attacks, with some being boosted by psychic power, but also has a variety of ranged throws and projectiles. Gardevoir also makes an appearance as an assist in Claymizer's Gallade.
Ðshiznetz's version[]
They call Gardevoir sexy (or at least they used to; now Gardevoir calls them pervs). Like Ðshiznetz's other Pokémon characters, Gardevoir uses sprites from Pokémon Type: Wild and has a gameplay style inspired by said game, complete with helper select. Comboing isn't exactly this character's forte, but with ranged throws and plenty of multi-purpose projectiles, who cares if the character's a little floaty?
