Giga Bowser is an alternate form of Bowser that first appeared as the secret final boss of Super Smash Bros. Melee's Adventure mode, only being encountered if the player was able to complete the mode on normal difficulty or higher within 18 minutes, where beating him without continues unlocks his trophy; He also teamed up with Ganondorf and Mewtwo in said game's event match #51: The Showdown, where the player had to K.O. all three of them with three stocks each, and beating it unlocks Final Destination as a playable stage and its trophy, as well as getting an exclusive notice if the player manages to complete the said event match without losing any stocks. Giga Bowser later appeared as a psuedo-playable character in the form of Bowser's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and returned as a boss in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but also appeared as Bowser's Final Smash in a different way in the said game.
In M.U.G.E.N, Giga Bowser has been made Shazzo and DeluxeGamer705. Shazzo's version is an altered version of his own Bowser with its appearance having been altered to look like Giga Bowser, while DeluxeGamer705's version uses recoloured Giant Bowser sprites.
Shazzo's version[]
This version of the iconic king koopa's alternate form is a spriteswap of the creator's own Bowser, in which this version uses sprites edited from the said character. Some of his attacks are slow but also powerful due to his high attack stat and his "Hypers" can result in an instant K.O.
DeluxeGamer705's version[]
Despite using recoloured Giant Bowser sprites from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, this version of Giga Bowser can be considered a one strong opponent, featuring a six-button gameplay with some ways to attack while hiding in his shell. Also, beware when he spins in his shell or throws in one punch after charging, as they can deal some damage.
