Gotenks is a fusion warrior created from the fusion of Goten and Trunks. They were the first fusion in Dragon Ball Z, making their first appearance during the Majin Buu saga.

With limited time left on Earth to spare before being forced to return to the afterlife, a deceased Goku made it a priority to teach his knowledge of the fusion dance technique to Goten and Trunks under the belief that this was the only way to stop the rampage of Majin Buu; the resulting fusion was christened "Gotenks" as a portmanteau of their component persons' names. Personality wise, Gotenks retains traits from both Trunks and Goten, possessing the former's carefree arrogance and latter's tendency to whine and complain frequently, while also possessing traits unique to themselves, such as their tendency to be overly dramatic and giving unnecessary names to what could be considered ordinary punches and kicks. Gotenks's roster of techniques are more expansive than most other fighters, possessing techniques that range from comical and useless, like the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, to highly useful and effective, like the Galactic Donut.

Gladiacloud's version

Gladiacloud chose Gotenks as his fourth Dragon Ball Z character. As such, it plays similar to most other Mugen Dream characters, all of which replicate CHOUJIN's style. Gotenks has fast paced and combo heavy gameplay, but it also has a somewhat wide movepool, usable for leaving a trajectory. The weaknesses of this character are limited, but not in the hands of the default A.I.
