The battle between Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza took place in Sootopolis City, Hoenn. Initially, the legendary Pokémon of Hoenn, Groudon and Kyogre, were causing major disruption to the weather, constantly changing it from intense sunlight to heavy downpours; this conflict inadvertently summoned Rayquaza, who joined the conflict in the hopes of ending it.
In M.U.G.E.N, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza Battle has been made by Marth Belmonth. It is comparable to the Clash of the Weather Trio stage, but only in concept. The still images of Groudon and Kyogre are all taken from Arkeis, a fan-made Pokémon art and graphics website, with Rayquaza taken from the Emerald boxart; unlike Groudon and Kyogre, who stay in the same spots throughout, Rayquaza periodically flashes on-screen in a jump-scare fashion. Also noteworthy is that this stage has compatibility with Pit Fatalities.
Background music[]
The music used is the legendary battle music from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, but with Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza's cries added at the beginning.
