Being the earliest-known version of Gumball, this version appears to be very basic and simple, with six Normals, no Specials and three Hypers, including a Raging Demon.
Gumball is a six-buttoned character using the and buttons. He has limited comboability, as trying to do a linear combo would mostly fail halfway. While he has aerial Normals, Gumball has no crouching Normals.
Gumball's moves are very limited, having only three Hypers with no Specials to go with. This includes a variation of a Kung Fu Upper, a simple combo move, and a Raging Demon. Furthermore, the Hypers need to be done if the character is almost near the opponent, as they will generally not hit if done farther.
Gumball has no custom A.I., making him rather unchallenging.
