Origin |
Haunter is a Ghost/Poison-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It evolves from Gastly and evolves into Gengar. It appears at #093 in the Kanto and National Pokédexes.
Haunter are primarily comprised of poisonous gas, resulting in an incredibly lightweight body that allows it to sneak around undetected. It lurks in the shadows until a new victim is spotted, upon which it will coax them into coming closer in order to lick them with its gaseous tongue, sapping their life and inflicting convulsions upon them that persist until they die.
In M.U.G.E.N, Haunter was made twice: once by the combined efforts of KM & Jadouyarou, and again by Nekomanma.
KM & Jadouyarou's version[]
This four-button Gas Pokémon, using its Pokémon Gold sprites, will poison your frustrated sanity by using its tricks to easily dodge your attacks and freely fly around the stage. Not only can it effortlessly heal its entire lifebar in a few instants by using one of its single-button attacks, it can even stun its opponent with spammable infinite projectiles, leaving fighters completely at its broken mercy.
