After having enough of various antics caused by a certain orange fat cat, Jon decides that it's time to take drastic measures...by confronting his own pet in a fight. Because of his inexperience in combat, Jon uses simple objects and strategies that he can use to attempt scoring a win, from projectiles to even putting out one of his date suits to launch the opponent into the air.
Jon is a four-button character, using Ⓐ and Ⓑ for kicks and Ⓧ and Ⓨ for punches. His light attacks have a very short range, meaning they can only hit if Jon is directly near the opponent, and while his medium attacks have a range that is slightly longer, they have a short delay (the delay being after the hit in Ⓑ, and before Ⓨ), which can make Jon open to any attacks. Jon also has a grab move he can do by walking to the opponent and pressing Ⓨ.
Jon can combo, except his comboability is unconventional. He cannot chain his Normals altogether, but he can combo via his Specials and Hypers. Jon can use Water gun for an infinite combo, but only if he is in some way near the opponent, as only one projectile can be on-screen at a time. He can also link black book to this particular move. Jon can also end a combo with two of his Hypers: hyper combo and Awful Suit, which can guarantee a bigger combo due to their number of hits.
Jon appears to use fer619's Garfield as a base, and his Specials appear to be very similar to those of Garfield's as a result. Both of his Specials are projectiles with their own trajectory: Water gun will move down a bit before going straight on its own, while black book moves in an arc-like path, making it possible to whiff unless Jon does it near the opponent. Jon has three Hypers, all three of which are combo moves that deal a decent amount of damage. hyper combo, as the name implies, is a combo move where Jon attempts to get in contact with the opponent in order to do various combos to them, Awful Suit is a fullscreen move that ends with a launcher, and Shun Goku Stasu[sic] is a Raging Demon move.
Jon Arbuckle has a custom A.I. that reuses various elements of the engine's default A.I., while it has a tendency to attack more often. While it starts off weak in the first seconds of the fight, Jon will be more increasingly challenging in times where he has enough powerbars to activate hyper combo or Awful Suit, sometimes even using either as a finisher.
