Kamen Rider Kuuga (Godai Yusuke) is the main protagonist of the 2000 Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Kuuga. He is a calm and multi-talented young man who dons the mysterious stone belt, the Arcle and fights as Kuuga. Yuusuke must fight the Gurongi tribesmen to stop their continuous killing in order to "protect people's smile". He is aided by police inspector Kaoru Ichijo and the Science Police throughout the battle. As the series nears its end, Yuusuke learns a horrible fact of the link between Kuuga and the Gurongis' leader, N-Daguva-Zeba.
In M.U.G.E.N, Kuuga has been made by Ruina & Azuma.
Kuuga is a very balanced 4-button character. His attacks, though not the fastest, connect into each other well. Players primarily fight with the main form, Mighty Form, while others (Rising Mighty, Pegasus, Dragon, Titan, and Ultimate) can only be accessed through his specials, and include him using a staff, a crossbow with exploding bolts, and more. Once the character is defeated, he will transform into the white colored Growing Form.
His AI is extremely strong, and borders on brutal. It rarely uses special attacks.
