Kenshiro is a fictional character and protagonist of the Fist of the North Star manga franchise by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara. Kenshiro is also a prominent playable character in various Fist of the North Star-themed fighting games, most notably the 2005 entry developed by Arc Systems Works.
Kenshiro's fighting style is known as Hokuto Shin Ken, which can be translated to "Big Dipper God Fist" or "Divine Fist of the North Star". Kenshiro is the current successor of the style, though it dates back several hundred years.
In M.U.G.E.N, Kenshiro has been created by HNK Team, Drowin and SAIKEI; while the latter two are based on Kenshiro's appearance in the 2005 Fist of the North Star fighting game, HNK Team's was custom-made for their Fist of the North Star full game, Hokuto no Ken: Sensei No Michi.
