The Legend of Zelda |
King Harkinian (also known as The King) is generally associated as being the King of Hyrule and father of Princess Zelda. He first made his appearance in the the Legend of Zelda animated series, with later appearances in the video games, Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon for the Philips CD-i. As the character appears outside of official Nintendo sources, he is not considered a canon character in The Legend of Zelda continuity.
King Harkinian is depicted as a somewhat tall, obese man with a beard and a cloak who appears to enjoy indulging in food, commonly wondering what's for dinner. He is a very calm yet stubborn man, exclaiming that peace is what all true warriors strive for, in response to Link's boredom, but also insists that he'll go to Gamelon to help his cousin, Duke Onkled, fight off Ganon's forces, despite Zelda's objections.
In M.U.G.E.N, King Harkinian has been made by Quetzalcoatl_88, Ancara and The Answer, with Quetzalcoatl_88's version having been edited three times by anthonyatkins.
The Answer's version

Originally a travelling priest, Elias Patrick donned a new set of clothes, moved to Hyrule and took over as king, changing his name to Harkinian. Completely abandoning his old moveset and fighting style, King Harkinian features a somewhat defensive set of skills that includes obligatory dinner tossing and the use of his Dinner Blaster, which strangely lacks the rapid-fire capabilities it is usually known for.
