Having only a few Normals with one projectile and a few Hypers, Klaymen may not look like much at first, However, he is surprisingly capable of attacks that almost fill up the entire screen. How he plays however is weak at first, but don't underestimate this resident of the Neverhood; Always get him stuck in a combo by constantly attacking him if possible, or else it would be an unblockable recipe of sudden death.
klaymen is a five-button character, using , Ⓧ and Ⓨ for attacks, not making usage of Ⓩ whatsoever. klaymen's Normals are mostly short-ranged, but Ⓒ is a fullscreen move that will also take out a small amount of klaymen's HP. However, the attack's startup time is long, making klaymen open to attacks. While klaymen has a lack of aerials, klaymen does have a few crouching Normals. Seemingly, the animations for the attacks will continue unless klaymen does an action afterwards, likely as an oversight. klaymen is also able to chain his low attacks to his medium attacks, though Klaymen cannot use his Ⓒ attack for combos due to its startup time, and also making klaymen open to attacks.
klaymen is much bigger than normal characters and also quite overpowered. Several of his attacks have extremely long range and infinite priority, with super willy being fullscreen. His Hypers cost little Power and deal excessive amounts of damage, with the more powerful ones dealing more than 2/3 of an opponent's Life. All of his Specials and Hypers are executed solely through the direction keys.
klaymen has a custom A.I. that is fairly weak, but his stats and overpowered nature make him difficult and tedious to take down, along with one other additional trait - if low on life, he will use his most powerful hyper as soon as possible. It deals absurdly high damage and is unblockable, frequently leading to him pulling a sudden and cheap victory.
