Magnet Man is a character from the Mega Man series who debuted in Mega Man 3. He is a Robot Master created by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily. He was originally created to collect scrap metal using his powerful magnetic forces. Dr. Wily modified him into a combat robot in Mega Man 3 and used him to help defeat Mega Man. Magnet Man's main weapon is the Magnet Missile, a missile fired from a launcher on his right wrist that follows enemies. He is also capable of pulling his opponents closer to him with his magnetic powers, so he can attack them from close-range. Sometimes, he sleeps by hanging on ceilings.

In M.U.G.E.N, Magnet Man has been created once by Slowcar48.

Slowcar48's version

This Magnet Man is a Marvel vs. Capcom styled character with gameplay is somewhat similar to Magneto's, as he can manipulate metals and other objects via his magnetic abilities. He can also launch homing magnet missiles to his opponents, and pull his opponent closer with his magnetic powers (which is somewhat of a cheap move, as the opponent can't move if they are affected by this attack). He also has slightly overpowered combo abilities, as he can do multiple hits by pressing the same button many times. His Hyper Combos consist of summoning Elec Man and trapping the opponent into a large electric spark, Magneto's Magnetic Shockwave, releasing many Magnet Missiles from behind, and transforming into MagnetMan.EXE, his NetNavi counterpart from the MegaMan Battle Network games.

His A.I. is somewhat cheap as he tends to spam his magnet missiles and pulling attacks.

• Magnet Man also appears as a striker in O Illusionista's version of Elec Man.
