Marco is a six-button character that plays like a four-button character. , and are used for Normals, is used for a Special, and and are used solely for a Special and a Hyper respectively. Strangely, Marco also lacks a walk-backwards animation.
For melee combat, Marco has three different knife attacks; one forwards, one upwards, and 連続ナイフ斬りつけ where Marco constantly swings his knife, recoiling any enemies directly in front of him but leaving himself open to attack from behind. Marco's primary long-distance attack, his gun attack, is pretty spammable, though not quite an Infinite as Marco has to reload every 12 shots. Because of the long startup and cooldown time between many of Marco's moves, he has poor combo ability.
