Mettaurs, sometimes known as Mets, Metools, Hard Hats or Metalls are a recurring enemy type from the Mega Man series, which also appear in the Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man Battle Network series.

Mettaurs are tiny construction robots wearing a disproportionately-sized hard hat with a "plus" sign marked on it. As the series progresses, different new variations of the Mettaur are introduced with their own specializations, with some, such as the Remettaur and Powmettaur, acting as military transports for deploying battalions of smaller Mettaurs in battle.

In M.U.G.E.N, Mettaur has been made by N64Mario.

N64Mario's version

When it hides itself in the famous indestructible hard hat, it will be protected from most of attacks. However, it has some attacks including the bullet attack, the kicks, and even summoning with its opening to attacks. Also, its low defence makes it rely on the hat for defence.
