Mr.Karate is a character that appears in the Art of Fighting and the The King of Fighters. This is the alias of Takuma Sakazaki, the father of Ryo and Yuri. Takuma uses this identity in order protect his family and school honour when he is forced to work as a henchman for Geese Howard. Mr.Karate leaves hints to his daughter of who he is and does not reveal any detail to Ryo so he can test his son's strength. He is the final boss in the Art of Fighting. He is used as a comic relief in the King of Fighters. In SVC Chaos and KOF XIII he has much more serious demeanour. Originally he didn't had a name, but fans batized him Mr. Karate, so SNK decided to use this title to refer to him.
In M.U.G.E.N, Mr.Karate has been made by various authors.
The sprites come from SNK vs Capcom: Chaos. This version of Mr. Karate is a 4 buttoned character. The character's A.I. is average and can be defeated if the player does not allow him to take advantage. Mr. Karate's moveset consists of punches and single handed shotoclone Kohken and Haoh Shikuu Ken projectiles. He is also a slow character but can pack a strong punch. Due to his A.I. he will often perform his combos but it may be missed or blocked by the opponent.

Fred's version[]
Fred's version comes from his original appearance in Art of Fighting. He plays pretty spot-on to the original character, as special moves drain his power, and he needs to charge up in order to use them.
Ahuron's version[]
The sprites come from The King of Fighters XIII. Ahuron's Mr. Karate is a slow moving character with a mostly lethargic A.I. He will utilize his combos, but due to his poor timing, he can be an easy opponent to take down if the player is on the other side of him. When his power gauge is full, he definitely uses the best of his combo ability and takes advantage of the player's air juggle. His moveset consists of punches, kicks, grapples, and fire-based projectiles.
