Pac-Man is an arcade game that was released in 1980 by Namco and later brought into the United States by Bally Midway. The objective of the game is to move Pac-Man around a maze while avoiding ghosts and eating all of the Pac-Dots to clear the level. There is also a bonus fruit that appears in the center of the maze after Pac-Man eats a specific number of Pac-Dots.
A stage based on the design of the original Pac-Man maze appears in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS under the name of Pac-Maze, where it serves as Pac-Man's home stage.
In M.U.G.E.N, Pac-Man Stage has been created by Doorhenge. The stage uses some sprites from Pac-Man alongside some custom renders of the game's arcade cabinet.

The stage is set within a giant rendition of a Pac-Man arcade cabinet, with the fighters standing on the control deck (with the joystick partially obscuring the center of the screen). The background features the entirety of the maze from the original game, complete with Pac-Dots that have a parallax effect when moving. Blinky (the red ghost) can be seen moving back and forth in front of the Ghost House, and within the house are three more ghosts that move up and down. Strangely, Inky is absent, being replaced with a duplicate of Pinky.
At the start of the round, a "READY" text will appear in the blank spot below the aeformentioned Ghost House. Occasionally, a fruit will also appear in this blank space; this fruit cycles between the fruit from the original game (cherry, strawberry, orange, apple, melon, a Galaxian, bell, and finally a key).
The stage has a shallow amount of horizontal space to walk around but contains plenty of vertical room, allowing for Super Jumps to comfortably fit on the screen when used.
