Paper Mario |
Paper Mario is the paper variant of Nintendo's Mario and the main protagonist of the Paper Mario RPG spinoff series. It has had six games in it, which all starred Paper Mario. Said series also crossed over with the Mario & Luigi RPG series in the 3DS game Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
Paper Mario fights enemies by jumping on his foes and hitting them with his hammer. He can also use his paper body to his advantage, folding it into an airplane, a tube, and turning himself flat to get through narrow areas. Most of the time, he has partners to help him from time to time on his adventures, with the exception of Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Paper Mario: Color Splash.
In M.U.G.E.N, Paper Mario has been made five times by various authors.
Shazzo's version
The earliest known version of Paper Mario, it uses sprites from his first game of the same name, though it is also a spriteswap of Actarus' Axel Stone, featuring the same moveset as its base. This version can even talk, something that he cannot actually do.
Ermac Won's version
Probably the most well known version of the iconic plumber's paper variant, this Paper Mario uses the Super Marvel vs. Capcom: Eternity of Heroes template, as well as the evil mode and sprites ripped from his third game and several custom ones.
Jakobthecool867's version
With only two Normals with one not even connecting at all and only 62 sprites, which most were for the Intro, this version of Paper Mario can be barely considered as an actual character. Due to his lack of sprites on many animations, he can disappear a lot.
