Poison is a transgender woman from Final Fight who has also appeared as a playable character in the Street Fighter series, including Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultra Street Fighter 4, and Street Fighter V.
She first appeared in the original Final Fight alongside her palette swap counterpart, Roxy, as enemy NPCs, but their sprites were replaced with male counterparts in the North American release, and were renamed Sid and Billy due to concerns over perceived violence against women at the time. Poison was a member of the Mad Gear gang that terrorized Metro City. After the gang was defeated by Mike Haggar, she left her life of crime and joined the SIN tournament in search of powerful fighters to manage. She reconnected with her old friend, Hugo Andore, and became his wrestling manager for a time, until they apparently split prior to Street Fighter V.
In M.U.G.E.N, Poison has been made by various authors.
DivineWolf's version[]
Despite being one of Divinewolf's earliest works, this version of Poison still plays in his signature pots-esque style, with parries, rolls, and power charges. Her tools of the trade include a pair of energy handcuffs, a whip, and acrobatic skills.
Trivia[]
- One of Poison's alternative colors includes her with orange hair. This is a reference to her palette swap from Final Fight, Roxy.
