Princess Celestia is a female Alicorn pony and a character in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, the fourth generation of the overall My Little Pony franchise. One of Equestria's former co-rulers alongside her younger sister, Princess Luna, her responsibility involved raising and moving the sun each and every day, a feat speculated to require an enormous amount of magical power.
In addition to her former ruling responsibilities and being the adoptive aunt of Princess Cadance, Celestia has mentored several other ponies as her personal students, such as Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle. Despite being royalty, she often encourages anyone who meets with her to relax through the use of jokes and gentle questions. She has a kindhearted and fun-loving nature, and shows great patience when faced with inappropriate behaviour, although even she does have her limits. Celestia also has a pet phoenix named Philomena, and bizarrely suffers with alektorophobia (a fear of chickens). As of the ninth and final season of Friendship is Magic, she and Luna have both retired from co-ruling Equestria, having left it in the hands of Twilight and her friends.
In M.U.G.E.N, Princess Celestia has been made once by The MegaBrony. Her effect sprites are derived from different sources, though her base sprites are taken from Desktop Ponies. She attacks mainly by using light and fire.
The MegaBrony's version[]
This Princess Celestia seems to heavily use voices and sprites from the Mega Man X series but not the gameplay. Although she is large enough to get hit easily, her attacks based on fire with constantly damage and her cheap A.I. will prove that she can defeat opponents easily without the Mane Six's power.
