Origin |
Princess Peach (often abbreviated to Peach and formerly known as Princess Toadstool) is a character from the Super Mario franchise. She is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, and is known for being frequently captured by Bowser. Compared to Princess Daisy's improper loud and sassy attitude for a princess, Peach is a quiet, kind and polite person who always act with class and a proper manner more in-line with the expectations of a princess.
First introduced in Super Mario Bros., Peach is rescued at the end of the game by Mario after he defeats Bowser. Her frequent captures have created a running gag throughout the series where several characters refer to the frequency of her abductions, and even Peach herself refers to the events of New Super Mario Bros. Wii as a "recent kidnapping". Peach has sometimes been shown to apologize excessively to Mario for constantly getting into trouble and requiring him to rescue her, although certain titles such as Super Princess Peach and Princess Peach Showtime! have shown that she isn't always a mere "damsel-in-distress" and she does have a braver and more adventurous side to her; as she is the sole heroine in both games. Alongside her frequent appearances in the mainline games and spin-offs such as Mario Kart and Mario Party, Peach has been a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series since Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In M.U.G.E.N, Princess Peach has been created multiple times by various creators, spanning from Big Eli King's normal and Nega versions made with Kart Fighter sprite edits, to creations such as Inferno's version, which use custom sprites.
Inferno's version
This version of Peach came straight out of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Wii U for the competition, with her having a decent combo ability along with having great damage to back it up. She also has unique Specials and a fun play style, her A.I is pretty moderate with it being more of a challenge to beat.
