Hitmontop is a full-on attacker, having no ranged attacks whatsoever. The added bonus of Hitmontop's Rolling Kick is that it has a chance to flinch the opponent (denoted in Project Catch 'Em All by the ATB bar emptying), and Endeavor allows Hitmontop to lower the opponent's life to that of its own. As a Fighting-type character, Hitmontop is strong against Rock-, Ice-, Steel and Dark-types, but weak to Flying-, Psychic- and Fairy-type Pokémon.
