Rainbow Dash is a female Pegasus pony and one of the main characters in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, the fourth generation of the overall My Little Pony franchise. She has a pale cerulean fur-coat and magenta eyes, although her most notable aspect is her messy, rainbow coloured hair: her mane was designed this way to reflect her tomboyish nature and adventurous, albeit reckless, personality.
Representing the element of loyalty, Rainbow helps to maintain the weather and skies in Ponyville by working as part of the Ponyville Weather Control team. Originally born from Cloudsdale, she moved her home to reside above Ponyville so that she would be closer to her friends. As a huge fan of the Wonderbolts, Rainbow dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt, which eventually does happen over the course of the series: she becomes a reservist member in "Testing, Testing, 1 2 3" and a full member in "Newbie Dash". Her pet tortoise, Tank, was offered to her by Fluttershy in "May the Best Pet Win!".
In M.U.G.E.N, Rainbow Dash has been made multiple times by various creators. Some are custom made using artwork pictures of Rainbow Dash, some feature original pixel sprites, and some versions utilize her sprites from the cancelled fighting game project by Mane Six, Fighting is Magic.

Featuring sprites, hitsparks and her special Magic Gauge from Fighting is Magic, this Rainbow Dash really emulates her gameplay from said game. Her default A.I. is at level 8, so she's prepared to show Egghead and anyone else who challenges her that she isn't just a Wonderbolt for show and tell.

- Much like all his other MLP creations, HedgehogMac's Rainbow Dash is heavily inspired by the Street Fighter series, featuring similar moves to Guile and even having him as an assist.
