Despite its early release, this version of Robert seems to be a pretty decent conversion from Art of Fighting 3, encapsulating both the gameplay and the smooth animations. However, it doesn't have all of its moves from said game, lacking the desperation move.
DeSouza's version of Robert uses four buttons, with Ⓧ, Ⓨ and Ⓐ being Basics, and Ⓑ being a taunt, rather than being preformed with Ⓢ.
Robert's gameplay is rather close to the original game, however, it is lacking the desperation attack, Ryuuko Ranbu. All of its Specials require power, but to make up for this, Robert's power slowly increases, making it very unlikely that it will run out of power.
Robert's A.I isn't very diffucult, making it a good opponent for beginners.
