Sceptile is a Grass-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the final evolution of Treecko, which is the Grass-type starter Pokémon of the Hoenn region, and has a Mega Evolution known as Mega Sceptile. It appears at #003 in the Hoenn Pokédex and #254 in the National Pokédex.

Sceptile are bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with razor-sharp leaves on the wrists of its arms, capable of cutting down thick trees. They are also very agile, leaping all over branches in order to pounce on top of its foe. The yellow seeds growing on its back are said to be filled with nutrients capable of revitalizing trees. When it Mega Evolves into Mega Sceptile, the seeds at the base of its tail now function as pressure chambers that allow Mega Sceptile to fire its tail like a missile at its foes.

In M.U.G.E.N, Sceptile has been made by CrazyCrue, MMidiotshock and Jetgoshi & Dylanius9000.

Taking bits from different gameplay systems, this fast-paced wood gecko has a primarily melee-oriented moveset designed to pressure the opponent, though pulling off combos requires some degree of precision. Despite also having projectiles in its moveset, opting to play defensively may grant Sceptile a negative penalty that empties its Power bar and makes it hard to fill back up for a short period of time.
