Seaside Hill is a location that originates from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, making its first appearance in Sonic Heroes as the game's first stage. A coastal, archipelagic region most notable for its checkered hills and beautiful orca-inhabited coastlines, it is said to be one of Sonic's favourite destinations to visit.
As a coastal area, Seaside Hill is very tropical in nature, featuring plenty of palm trees and green grass covering its various trademark hills. It is also notable for possessing many sea ruins, some of which move when approached, indicating that the region was once inhabited by an ancient civilization. While this society seemingly no longer exists, its ruin still remain as part of its legacy. The second stage of Sonic Heroes, called Ocean Palace, is a direct continuation of Seaside Hill that takes place exclusively within its ruins.
In M.U.G.E.N, Seaside Hill has been made by Nightmare Seth.

Nightmare Seth's version is based on the last area of Team Sonic's version of the stage, where the player encounters a large swarm of Egg-Pawns standing in front of the Goal Ring.
