Silver the Hedgehog is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. A kind-hearted individual with a strong sense of justice, he comes from two hundred years into the future, with his purpose being to prevent the destruction of his timeline by resolving the catastrophes of the past. This results in frequent interactions with Sonic and the rest of his friends and allies. His telekinetic abilities, seen as normal in his time, allow him to manipulate the environment using merely his mind.
Silver makes his first appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), in which the future has long been ruined by Iblis, and people live in constant fear and without hope. With assistance from Blaze, Silver finds himself stuck in an endless cycle of fighting and failing to defeat Iblis. An unexpected glimmer of hope arrives in the form of Mephiles the Dark, a mysterious creature, who seemingly tells him the origin of Iblis: the reason behind Iblis' existence is the "Iblis Trigger", whom Mephiles falsely accuses Sonic of being. After Sonic is killed, Silver is shocked to find out that the true "Iblis Trigger" is actually Mephiles himself. Following him into the past, Silver works with Sonic's friends to find the Chaos Emeralds and resurrect Sonic, so that they can take down Solaris and definitively erase Mephiles from the timeline, therefore saving the future.
In M.U.G.E.N, Silver has been made by various creators, with Gladiacloud's version being the most popular. This particular version has been edited by Shiruzato.

This particular character has great combability, even if the sprites and animations look somewhat awkward. Silver's Specials and Hypers are very easy to activate and his small size means that he can be quite hard to hit. Combined with a tough A.I., this version of the futuristic hedgehog is determined to defeat his foes at all costs.

Ever imagined a version of the time-traveling hedgehog with a gameplay style of Beanfan112's creations? No? Well, this is exactly what was just described, because he is, in fact, a spriteswap of one of that author's characters, particularly, a certain blue turtle. Given that character's flaws, one could say that this version of Silver is "no use!"
Gladiacloud's version
While this version of Silver uses sprites in MUGENHunter's style, he opts for gameplay similar to Veanko's Sonic characters, with EX versions of almost all of his Specials, different levels of his Hypers, a charge attack and more.
