The Stage Builder is a side mode introduced in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that allows players to create their own custom stages from one of three sizes and preset backgrounds, with the sizes being small, medium and large, and the preset backgrounds being a mountainous region, a ruins area and a futuristic cylindrical chamber. The stage builder returned in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with five different backgrounds to choose from and the ability to create stages by drawing them on the Wii U gamepad, which allowed for more intricate designs compared to the Stage Builder in the previous game.
In M.U.G.E.N, Luneth has created a Stage Builder stage that consists of three stages which could be constructed within said mode, with the three being split up into separate definitions files according to their background and physical size.

Luneth's Stage Builder uses graphical assets of the custom stage builder backgrounds and parts present in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but has them split into three separate definitions files that each represent one of the three available custom background types; the stage sizes in each of the .defs is also different, with each one being labelled by its appropriate size compared to the others. Combatants don't actually fight on the custom stages themselves, as they are relegated to elements that reside in the background, with battles instead taking place on a flat floor that's made up of objects assigned to that particular custom background's object set. The 'Base:Small' .def custom stage has the appearance of a head, with spikes possibly being used to represent hair on top of head and teeth in the lower jaw, as well as blocks being used to represent eyes that shake and drop downwards on occasion; the 'Ruins:Middle' .def custom stage is a very simplistic design with a single conveyor belt on each side of the stage and a platform that ascends and descends vertically; while the 'Sky:Large' custom stage has a slightly more complicated maze-like design complete with a large spinning wheel with four platforms affixed to it.
