The Moon is an entity that appeared in I Wanna Be the Guy, where it was primarily featured as one of the many obstacles that The Kid had to avoid on his journey, though it also appeared during the Dracula boss fight as a flying obstacle that was shot from his cape.
In M.U.G.E.N, The Moon has been created twice by fhqwhgads7; the first version is a joke character, while the second version is based on the boss fights from I Wanna Be the Guy.
When the round starts, the only way that The Moon can attack the opponent is to roll or jump onto its opponents, similar to how it acted in I Wanna Be the Guy.
Fhqwhgads7's second version[]
This version of The Moon is designed to function similarly to the boss fights from I Wanna Be the Guy, with its A.I. having a set pattern of attacks: it will start the match using either Crush, Floor Grind or Super Crush, though it will idle for a set duration between each use; once it has gained enough Power, which happens automatically over time, it will then start using Star Shot and Dark Star before returning to using its original three attacks, though if it has gained at least 2000 or 3000 Power, it will instead use either Star Shake or Doomsday, with the former being a rapid fire of star projectiles that shoot up from underneath the player, and the latter causing The Moon to disappear off-screen before crashing down and instantly knocking the player out.
