Vega (known as Balrog in Japan) is an infamous character from the Street Fighter series. He first appeared as one of four boss characters in Street Fighter II and later as a playable character. His name was changed to Vega for the U.S. release of Street Fighter II as a result of M. Bison and Balrog's name changes. He is sometimes referred to as simply "Claw" to avoid confusion between his english and japanese names.

Vega is a masked bullfighter and narcissist, who joined Shadaloo in the hopes that they could find a way to preserve his handsome looks. Vega is a psycho who is obssessed with beauty and hates ugliness.

In M.U.G.E.N, Vega has been made by various authors.

Gameplay

Vega is a 6-buttoned character that does something unique. If attacked, sometimes his mask or claw falls off, but can be picked up. With his mask Vega has increased Defense and with his claw he has increased Attack. There's a mode where a cage appears in the background and he can climb on it. There is also a mode where Vega has a gold Claw instead of a silver one.
