Yuri Sakazaki is a character from the Art of Fighting series; she initially appears in the first Art of Fighting as a damsel in distress, then later makes her debut as a playable character in Art of Fighting 2. She would later become a recurring playable character in The King of Fighters series.
Yuri's mother died in a car accident when she was 6 years old, and right after her father leaved the family in order to protect the same. Yuri then lived with her sibling, meeting Robert in the process. When Yuri was 17, she was kidnapped by Mr. X on Geese's orders as a plot to blackmail her father. After being rescued, her father trained her hidden from both Ryo and Robert, just enough for her to protect herself.
In M.U.G.E.N, Yuri Sakazaki has been made many times by various authors.
Sekirei's version[]
Managing to almost perfectly replicate the systems of the first and second installments of the The King of Fighters series, this version of Yuri also makes use of a stun bar to keep opponents at bay. Unlike other conversions, Yuri also has aesthetics and a proper Power bar from the source game.
