Despite being yet another April Fools release from PlasmoidThunder, this is no one-note gag. Although the character looks like Yuyuko—and was built upon RicePigeon's version—the moveset is unmistakably Vatista's, just translated to the style of Gensokyo Reloaded; while she retains her charge inputs and strong ranged options, she lacks reverse chaining and jump-cancellable Normals outside of specific instances.
Yuyutista is a three-button character that utilises as the primary attack buttons, while reserving Ⓐ as a dash shortcut when input in conjunction with or , as well as Ⓑ and Ⓒ as macros for Ⓨ+Ⓩ and , respectively. As is standard with Gensokyo Reloaded-style characters, Yuyutista can chain her Normals from Ⓧ through to Ⓩ, which can then be cancelled into Specials or Hypers, while Specials can be cancelled into Hypers. Standing and crouching Ⓨ are unique in that pressing the input again will activate a followup attack, even if the attack doesn't make contact, with crouching Ⓨ sporting an additional followup if the input is repeated a second time; while none of the followups can be cancelled into Ⓩ Normals, the standing Ⓨ followup can be jump-cancelled on hit, while the second crouching Ⓨ followup drags the opponent in on hit to set up for combos. The character can perform a throw by inputting Ⓨ+Ⓩ, which launches the opponent at speed towards the edge of the screen and causes them to bounce off it, though it is not possible to hit them during this; by holding as the throw is input, the opponent is thrown to the wall behind Yuyutista.
As a result of mimicking Vatista's likeness from Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late [cl-r], Yuyutista's strengths lie in her stage control, ranged options, and pressure, though mastering her charge inputs is essential to executing this effectively, as all her Specials and Hypers (barring Guard Cancel and "Lacteus Orbis") require a charge. Lumen Stella is a notable part of Yuyutista toolkit, as it is a slow-moving projectile with a decent hitbox and few recovery frames that doesn't knock the opponent down, allowing her to either close the gap or continue the ranged pressure, with the latter made more enticing due to her ability to have one of each version of Lumen Stella on-screen at the same time; the grounded Ⓨ version, however, subverts these properties by travelling at a much higher velocity and causing knockdown, suiting it better for sniping opponents from afar. Unlike a lot of zoners, Yuyutista has access to a strong reversal via the Ⓧ and Ⓨ versions of Ruber Angelus, with the latter featuring invulnerability all the way through the active frames and ending in a hard knockdown if the final hit connects, though naturally it is highly unsafe on block or if it misses; the Ⓩ version, while not a reversal, functions as a valuable combo tool due to its more horizontal trajectory and far fewer recovery frames.
While not as prominent as her source counterpart's iteration due to how the juggle system differs and being limited to just one on-screen, Sideus Fragmentum is still just as important to Yuyutista's gameplay, both in block pressure and on knockdown; by striking it with one of her own attacks, it will explode with a large hitbox, either launching the opponent and doing good damage on hit, or keeping them in blockstun while Vatista is free to act and keep up the pressure. Just like the source game, Yuyutista's weaknesses come from her slower-than-average Normals and unfavourable disadvantage on block and whiff, as well as her subpar methods to deal with strong keepaway due to her standard projectile being slow to startup and her beam requiring her to be holding forward, which prevents it from being buffered while guarding; these factors culminate in a heavy reliance on maintaining momentum, as even with her strong reversal, being in disadvantage is difficult to escape from.
Yuyutista's A.I. is unchanged from RicePigeon's Yuyuko, which uses a state tree to determine what options to use under specific scenarios; because each move is potentially different from what it replaced, the A.I. may perform the wrong attack for the current situation. An A.I. patch has been created by holn.

The character referenced in Yuyutista's quotes against Komachi Onozuka is Gordeau, a character from Under Night In-Birth who also wields a large scythe.
Yuyutista's first victory quote against Meimu relates to a joke within the Under Night community pertaining to the dexterity required to independently hold and release each attack button as part of Vatista's standard combo and pressure game.
