Zangief is a character from the Street Fighter series. A Russian wrestler, Zangief is a national hero, earning the title of "The Red Cyclone". Zangief is a true patriot, going to any lengths to defend his country against anyone that threatens it. His signature move is the Spinning Piledriver.

In M.U.G.E.N, Zangief has been made by various creators.

Manobaru's version

Similarly to his Dhalsim, Manobaru's version of Zangief is primarily based on his first few appearances in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, playing similarly to the first Marvel vs. Capcom game. As always, he is a slow-moving character that specializes in throws, especially with the devastating Screw Pile Driver, but some of his other attacks do not work as they should, like Banishing Flat missing its projectile nullification.
