Origin

World Heroes

Zeus is one of the main antagonists of the World Heroes series of games. He was the main unplayable boss of World Heroes 2 Jet and appeared in World Heroes Perfect. He presides in a castle outside of time itself, with two large sabretooth looking pet cats that, like Captain Kidd's vulture, are unnamed. He also has women held captive as shown in Jenghis Carn's ending in World Heroes Perfect. In his first appearance, he recruited the aid of Ryofu and Jack in order to conquer time. In the ending canon to the game, Hanzo defeats him. In World Heroes Perfect, he isn't playable, but is more of a fake-out than a boss. the player fights one round with him, and whether the player wins or loses, Neo Dio, the real final boss, appears, wrecks the castle and attacks Zeus. It is unclear whether or not Neo Dio killed him, as the latter isn't mentioned again.

In M.U.G.E.N, Zeus has been created once by Hiram Yagami.

Zeus-stand

This version features all of Zeus's original World Heroes Perfect moves and some new, edited moves. He is a very fast and powerful boss character, with several dangerous moves that help him close gaps and apply pressure on the opponent (even if the overlapping command inputs between different attacks can make it sometimes difficult to choose one precise move). Thankfully, the AI does not use his full combo ability, which deals up to 50% damage in a single combo without even including supers but one still has to keep a watch on his divine level of power.
